Due to the ongoing strike with our Brothers and Sisters with Canada Post, members who have mailed their dues through Canada Post may risk falling into arrears with the Union, as postal services are currently disrupted. To ensure your dues are up to date, the easiest and most reliable method is to send an e-transfer to dues@seafarers.ca. Please include your full name and Union reference number in the note section of the e-transfer, otherwise we will not know who has sent in dues.
If you have recently mailed your dues payment via Canada Post and are concerned it may be delayed, you can confirm your standing by contacting dispatch at your union hall.
Important Note: SIU Canada is unable to accept e-transfers from banks that do not support auto-deposit, including Desjardins, National Bank, and Laurentian. If this applies to you, please use an alternative courier service other than Canada Post to mail in your dues.
