Article XI: Meetings

Regular Meetings

1. – Semi-annual membership meetings shall be held twice yearly at Headquarters and at all Constitutional Branches, with each meeting occurring at least 120 days apart.

1.1 – The Executive Board shall determine the date of Semi-annual membership meetings and provide notice of the date of the meeting to the members on the Union’s website at least 60 days in advance. During the week in which a Semi-annual membership meeting is to be held, a meeting shall be held at Headquarters and then, during the same week, meetings shall be held at the other Constitutional Branches.

2. A regular membership meeting shall commence at 2 P.M. local time.

Important to note:

  • Excuses for why you cannot attend a regular membership meeting must be sent by email to the port you are registered with.
  • Members are reminded that they must have their Union ID with them to enter the meeting, otherwise you will be refused entry.
