The people of Ukraine need our help. We have all been watching the horrors unfold across the country of Ukraine at the hands of a vicious dictator in Russia. Schools, hospitals, daycares and ‘safe passages’ are being attacked on a daily basis. We must do all that we can to ensure the people of the sovereign country of Ukraine get the aid that they need to survive and continue fighting for their country.
That is why, at the request of our Members, the Seafarers’ International Union of Canada has set up a donation account to help support our Sisters and Brothers holding strong in Ukraine.
If you wish to donate, Members can send donations via eTransfer to support@seafarers.ca . All proceeds donated will go to the Canada-Ukraine Foundation to support their mission to support those who need aid in Ukraine.
The donation account is set up for automatic deposits, however, if your bank requires a password to eTransfer funds, please use ‘ukraine’ as your password.
